Jericho Beach Webcam Location

This camera is located just west of the Jericho Sailing Centre in Vancouver, BC, Canada. There are usually ships visible anchored in English Bay and the buildings of West Vancouver can be seen along the distant shoreline. Cypress Bowl ski area is in the mountains on the left and Grouse Mountain ski area is above the tree tops on the right. A new picture is taken every 10 minutes during daylight hours.

The camera location is a block from the beach on a house at Belmont & Tolmie streets.
The camera was upgraded to a Creative PC Cam 750 on Oct 16, 2002
Then upgraded to a Logitech Pro 9000 on Nov 23, 2007
In July of 2008 we installed an Axis 210 network IP camera. It was mounted higher with a better view
July 11, 2010 we installed an Axis 207MW network IP camera with 1280x960 resolution
The camera is configured to upload a picture every 10 minutes during daylight hours.
